I'm remembering Black pilots of the Caribbean fought in the "Battle of Britain". I had WW2 Caribbean relatives that flew with the RAF. Here's Group Capt. Adolph Gysbert Malan, South Africa, talking to Flight Sargent Vincent Bunting, Jamaica in 1942.
