"A Yule Prayer"
We need more than mere moments of peace.
Eleanor Roosevelt made "Freedom From Fear" part of the U.N. Declaration of Human Rights for a reason. A "moment" of peace is not enough.
Allowing ourselves only that. Just that brief desperate tiny scrap. This, and calling it good is not enough.
We deserve by being alive whole lifetimes of peace safety beauty, and joy. ...Amen.
